Description

7400208C-020 is a dedicated digital input baseboard for the Triconex Tricon system, specifically designed for the DI2301 24-channel digital input module. It supports the collection of 24V DC dry contact signals, with the threshold for contact conduction being greater than 15V and the threshold for contact disconnection being lower than 5V. It is mainly used for collecting discrete switch signals such as equipment switches, valve status, and interlock contacts, and is widely applied in scenarios of safety monitoring for petrochemical plants, power plants, and natural gas pipelines.

This digital input baseboard has distinct hardware functions from the 7400211-310 analog input baseboard. The channels have a millisecond-level high-speed switch signal response, are equipped with dedicated terminals for DI, and each channel only has two positive and negative connection terminals, making the wiring simple. It relies on the Tricon fault-tolerant safety architecture to stably upload switch status signals, and can quickly identify changes in the on/off status of equipment startup, fault alarms, and safety interlock points, and is compatible with various industrial SIS safety cabinets for standardized assembly.
